This is the second OTC bearing splitter that I’ve purchased. I have one that I’ve been using for well over 30 years with no issues. Theses are great bearing pullers. You will not be disappointed.

If the bearing fits in the range of this puller its coming off. No ifs ands or buts.

It was missing two nuts. I had to buy separately.

I wish there was replacement tie bolts. Had to buy a whole new one to get.We use it to pull 200 - 350 hp drive couplings with interference fit.

You want to press stuff?!?! This is it. Primarily use it for 4 runner front hubs but so many other things. Perfect tool.

I use this splitter mostly for pressing off pinion bearings. It does a very good job of fitting in by the shims, and holds up to the pressure of pressing out the pinion without distortion. Made from high quality steel, the thin edges haven't shown any signs of bending. It has exceeded my expections, something that very seldom happens anymore when it comes to tools.

This tool came with alot of the casting material still present. If you were to use it strait out of the box the bolts would warp because of it. I spent a good hour with a heavy file to remove the casting so the nuts would rest flush on the splitter. while removing a pinion bearing on a 9" the inner eye area became distorted while removing the bearing on the press. The tool say's right on it," Made from global outsourced materials" That might mean China. But for the money this tool is hard to beat if you plan on only using it on a few occasions, but if you are a proffesional, look else where.
