I struggled to find a e-torx in 1/2 inch with a skinny shaft to clear the cams on M54 BMW engine. This is great quality and strong enough to torque head bolts.

Like the title says, first use the the detent ring came off and the ball dropped straight into the oil drain hole directly below the head bolt. Seriously the last time I buy a tool off amazon. Just garbage.

I have a quality set of 3/8 to take off the head bolts. But when torque specs are needed, this was heavy duty enough to make it happen.

This socket was perfect for its purpose. It had a tight fit on the bolt and perfect length to reach head of bolt. Strong construction only problem wit it is a ball for holding bolt head can get loose and may drop in engine.
