A shorter length isn't for everyone but these are better for me when running or on the beach. Very lightweight which is nice, but we'll see how long they last. I don't use the pocket on the inside for my phone but it's very convenient for a key, a few bucks and/or my earbuds. I have the beige color in a small size and they are exactly how I pictured them; snug and fit (the others I bought were small/medium but 3" and 5" and were still a bit too loose). I'm also going to get the green and that will conclude my search for short shorts.

This inseam is great! Provides enough coverage for modesty, the full split with liner provides the side pocket for phone, wallet and/or key(s).I agree the front liner part is cut or sewn a little awkward, but I'm not endowed so I think it's fine. Quality of fabric and stitching is very nice, the brand logo is heat stamped (or looks like heat transferred) on the left leg. Waistband is comfortable.Reordering in the other colors now, but also might want to cut the liner out and just wear a more supportive jockstrap underneath. I'm normally a size L but tried M and like the fit, it's stretchy and not constricting.

Could be better design for the internal undies, it just doesn't hold my jewels very well...but but for ease, comfort and flexibility of the shorts itself...this is good.Could be cheaper. I've had better fit and feel with cheaper, but the color and flexibility in these won me over.

I should’ve listened to the reviews about the liner, it feels nice but it will not cover if you are squatting.

These shorts fit well and the lining is more comfortable than I expected but they are NOT beige. They are more yellow than anything else. They are also not mesh. The fabric is perforated but that is not the same as mesh. The fabric is closer to a swim short than a workout type of fabric.

These shorts are extremely comfortable to wear. Their primary purpose is for relaxing, The fabric is soft and the shorts wash up well. Good color saturation and no loose threads. The pocket is a handy addition and holds a Samsung Galaxy just fine. These shorts are not suitable for any sport. The liner, while fashionable doesn't off ANY support for physical activity. With the high cut side splits, it's only function is for modesty.
