- 1:Begin by securing the broom head to the pole(This pole with a white rubber connector) Twist it in place until firmly attached.
- 2:Select the number of extension rods you need to reach your preferred height. Twist each rod clockwise to lock them securely together.
- 3:Attach the last pole(The handle grip comes pre-installed on this pole, to ensure it stays securely in place and won’t loosen during use. If you feel it’s not tight enough, simply tap it on the ground for a firmer fit)

I expected this so-called outside broom to be at least a bit firmer and sturdy, but it is too soft for an outdoor broom and did not meet my expectations

First impression when the item arrived was, what is this? It came in a small box which caught me off guard. The broom comes in sections and has to be screwed together.Once it was together it looked impressive, though each section needed some additional turns just to keep it tight and together. Once I did this, using it didn't seem to loosen the sections, but it is something to keep an eye on. The bristle head is very wide, and the bristles themselves are very stiff, which I prefer in a broom. Overall I would say it comes across as sturdier and higher quality than your average broom.The top of the broom has a loop for hanging that spins independently, which will add to storage versatility. It also has a large foam grip for your bottom hand, though sweeping so hard that you would need the grip is questionable. Still, its a nice tough and makes the broom look more impressive.Now, on the subject of the grip, it seems a bit high to be useful. I am 6' and the GF is 5'7, so it was even more out of place for her. So much so, that she asked me to reassemble it trying the grip in a different location, though this ended up making it worse so we went back to original.Also as it says in the description, the broom is quite tall, certainly taller than an average broom. We measured it at nearly 7 inches taller than our old generic broom. This and the grip location could make this broom unwieldly for smaller peeps, though we had no issues. In extreme cases, I imagine you could remove a section. We tested this and it was just too short for us, but could work for others.Overall it's a pretty nice heavy duty alternative, especially for taller people or in a situation where you need something that long.
