I have needed an outside clock and this one is a nice decorative clock. It is smaller than I thought (I should have looked closer at the size) but it is bright and colorful. Since it is battery operated it makes it convenient for hanging it up outside. The fact that it can work in any weather conditions makes adds to the value of the clock.

We have a varied collection of metal sun faces in our garden, and this sun shaped clock is just the most perfect addition to our collection. This is very well made and is very colorful and attractive. While it is described as being able to withstand the outdoor environment, we are most likely going to keep this in a covered environment.This did ship in a good cardboard box. Only one sun ray tip was bent, but that was easily fixed. The paint on the whole sun dial is thorough and vibrant.We have not placed this outdoors yet to test the humidity and temperature settings. It does seem to hold an accurate time. This uses 1 AA battery - not included.Pricing is more than fair for this high quality outdoor sun face clock. Very happy with this purchase.

Much smaller than expected from photo. Only about 12.5 inches across sun rays and clock face is only 6 inches. One of the jewels was broken off upon arrival. A couple of the tops on the sun rays are bent but probably can be straightened pretty easy. Guess I was expecting a larger clock from the photos in the description. But it is pretty.

This is basically an indoor battery operated quartz clock like almost all other inexpensive quartz clocks we see on the market today. You can replace the movement for about three or four dollars. I picked up the sunburst which actually looks pretty nice. It's very colorful and has plastic gems embedded in it. They are not just painted on. The face of the clock is 6 inches yet still easy to read. The total diameter is around 12 inches. The sunburst is made out of tin and the rest of the clock is plastic. I see nothing that would make this waterproof so it will not handle the rain for very long if at all. I sort of expected that so I plan on using this indoors. Most likely in my garage. So far my tests show that it keeps decent time. Just be aware that if you are looking for an outdoor clock this is not it.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this clock was made of metal (bronze finish). The color of the metal and the jewels mounted round the face of the clock are vibrant and the clock face is clear. I also like that this clock has a thermometer and hygrometer (my criteria for outdoor clocks). The battery receptacle was a bit tight and I was worried for a bit that it would break when inserting it. But it finally went in. The clock is a bit small for this price point, compared to other clocks but is also more visually interesting. One star off for the value/size. Will update if it performs poorly over time.
