I have a 25 watt led color changing light for my swimming pool that had stopped working. I notice that the control box had gotten wet and shorted out. I replaced a new control box but the light was still not working, so I figured it had to be the transformer that needed replaced. I went to the local pool store which did not have any transformers in small size, so I went on Amazon looking for one. While browsing I came across this small form factor transformer with 35watts and decided to order it. Once it arrived the installation was very straight forward, marked by input and output, just matched up the wires which were the same colors and just like that my pool light came to life again.

Because I live in a region that experiences a lot of rain, I believe that the waterproof casing is a good feature. It is essential to have an outdoor power source that is able to survive a variety of weather conditions given the nature of my location. The structure as a whole gives the impression of being long-lasting, and the fact that the case is well sealed gives me faith in its capacity to withstand anything the weather may throw at it. A further benefit of the UL designation is the additional sense of security that comes with the knowledge that the product satisfies certain safety criteria. I get the impression that even someone with a little knowledge of electrical work would have no trouble with the installation process since it was so simple. I utilized this device to connect to a number of LED pathway lights and spotlights that are located all over my garden, and I believe that the power output from this product is more than enough for my requirements. The 120-volt alternating current output is ideal for low-voltage lighting, and the 36-watt capacity effortlessly and without any problems managed to handle the load. I also enjoy that the transformer maintains a pretty low temperature while it is operating, even after many hours of continuous usage. This is something that I believe is a testament to the quality of the components that are found within the transformer. I was able to put up lights around the perimeter of my garden with the help of this device, and the length of the cable made it simpler for me to install the transformer in a suitable location without the need for an extension. In light of the fact that I did not have to make any modifications in order to adapt the power supply, I believe that this little feature contributes to the overall convenience.

This is heavy duty for my outdoor project box. I cut off the wires on both sides since I only needed about 9" on each side. Not to bad. It was able to be screwed down easily. Since it's a transformer, it gets a tad warm but that'll help my project in the colder hours of the day. At least, until I stop for the hard(er) winder months. My load is four Rain Bird sprinkler valves and a Particle Photon 2 so I don't think I will use all 60W since valves only run 1 or 2 at a time. This did put out 28VAC and I don't think I had my digital multi-meter set up incorrectly. Anyway, I like it and I hope it's durable. Seems like it.
