I have been looking for a potting bench for general gardening around the home and this potting bench seemed like the right size for light gardening work.The PetalPine Outdoor Potting Bench & Wooden Gardening Work Station took me about an hour to put together, this included carefully reading the directions and sorting all the parts before assembly. A power driver will help complete the project faster. One it is put together; the potting bench is lightweight but is fairly stable and should hold up well for basic potting work. I can see this bench working perfectly in a home with a covered patio or a greenhouse. However, I am not sure that I would leave it outdoors year-round under direct sun and rain, I feel long-term outdoor exposure might wear this bench faster. I intend to store it in the shed when not in use, and since it is not heavy, it will be no problem moving it in and out of storage as needed.For the price, feel the PetalPine Outdoor Potting Bench & Wooden Gardening Work Station is perfect for the occasional home potting project. The bench looks very nice and the design allows for storage of garden tools and potting supplies. I would recommend this bench for general home gardening use.

Very nice potting bench. Everything is put together with screws except for the lattice slats which are stapled. The table surface is covered with a smooth metallic surface which is easy to wash. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble it. It would've taken less time if I had another person to help by holding awkward connections in place. The instructions even say you need two people to put it together. You don't. It can be done by one person as long as you can get creative in finding ways to stabilize pieces while you're trying to connect them. Beyond that you really should have a drill driver but you can use a manual screwdriver if not but you're driving self driving screws into wood with no pilot hole in some cases. Other types of hardware require a screwdriver and either a locking wrench or hex head driver. The pictures for assembly are easy to read and the design is quite sturdy. All the parts are wood except for the surface application for the table and the hooks on the side which are metal). There's plenty of work space. It's a good value for the money.

Mostly this isn't a bad potting table...but I do question how much weight it can actually hold. So far, I've been reluctant to put any really heavy pots on it to work on. It is fairly easy and self explanatory to put together with a little patience. It does help with one more person to hold parts but I did get it together by myself. It's cute but the wood isn't the best. I'd definitely say it's more for a hobby or beginner than someone who does alot of gardening like me. In the end it's more storage for me than an actual working table. It is next to me sturdy one so holds the things I need like empty pots vermiculite small containers of fertilizer etc...It is definitely helpful having the space to have what I need handy and not taking up space on my other table. It's not a bad table...just not really what I need to work.

At 31.2 lbs., it's lightweight but sturdy. The color is reminiscent of Cedar, but it's actually a soft Pine. It stands at a good height for working without straining your back. The drawer is a nice addition and will hold a number of small gardening tools. Additionally, a set of three hooks affixed to the side will hold things that hang.I didn't find this piece too hard to put together. Even though the directions indicate that it takes two people, I did it on my own. There are no tools included, and it calls for a hammer, drill, and Phillips Head screwdriver. The directions don't indicate when to use what, so I wound up screwing the small wood screws into the wood without the benefit of a drill. Although the description there are pre-drilled holes, that only applies to the larger joints which use nuts and bolts. The wood is soft enough that I didn't have any splitting. I still don't know what the hammer is meant to be used for, as I didn't use it all. The directions predict that the piece will take an hour to assemble. I actually found that it took about 45 minutes including the time to unpack and organize the parts.All-in-all, I'm happy with this potting bench and I look forward to using it on my small deck this summer!
