Product description is not accurate. The label says this is for a 40 liter bag. However, when you look at the specifications, it says it is a 20 liter bag. You are actually getting a 20 liter bag. They should fix this. Knocked off a star for that.Other than that, it's perfect. Very good bag compared to the price point of others. If you actually need a 40 liter Outdoor Products Dry Bag, they are available at some locations of the big blue retailer.

A 20 L dry bag seems like the perfect size for backcountry tripping...fits my clothes, sleeping bag and a few other items I need to keep dry, goes inside my 60 L backpack with plenty of space for my tent, pot and other gear. The translucent material is great too.I haven't owned it long enough to see if it has the same 30 year lifespan as my 10L SeaLine dry bag, but my first impression is that this bag is every bit as good.

Superb quality, easy to use, durable and an outstanding value! Recommend this brand for those that do lots of back-country camping trips. Have a couple that I've been using for years and they sure take some rough handling on fly-out hunting and fishing trips. Still no leaks.
Not the quality I thought

Keeps things inside dry. It is a little heavier than others but definitely heavier duty

I've taken these on several kayaking trips, and have been really impressed by their durability. The material is really strong, and I've had no leakage problems when the top is properly rolled. Only down-side is the thick material is a bit stiff, and it's rubbery so it can be a little difficult to slide it in and out of a kayak cargo hatch if they're stuffed really full (they can grab at the hull like a rubber bath-mat). But they're totally waterproof, and you'd have to really gouge them with something sharp to cut the material (unlike most of the nylon/fabric dry bags I've tried). Great peace-of-mind for your gear that must stay dry on a trip, and they cost a fraction of what bigger outdoor-brands are charging for their drybags. Recommended.

This works and seems well made, but the vinyl is very stiff and I cannot fit it into my backpack. Would be fine for stuffing into a kayak or canoe stand alone though.

Like this bag and holds all the food for my hiking needs. Waterproof and (hopefully) scentproof. Used it as my bear bag.

Tried it, seems very well built. Will keep all my kit dry. Ill post an update in a year after a few exercises and deployment. I'll probably buy more in the future.

Good product. The material is thick stiff plastic - comparable to a very heavy duty shower curtain. It would be hard to rip a hole in it. It is tough enough for rubbing against rocks and branches. The clip is sturdy and reliable; I don't foresee it failing. The 40L size is a good substitute for a standard hiking backpack. I can pack all my gear in this dry bag, strap it onto an external frame (example, molle pack frame or Alps Outdoorz Commander Freighter frame), and be confident in keeping the contents dry on a rainy hike. Recommended.
