It brings the device flush with the finish surface, and is especially useful when tile or stone have been added to a wall. You will find many other handy uses for this spacer/shim. They are constructed of non-conductive UL listed polyethylene plastic and are easy to use. NOTE: Not to be used when the surface is combustible, (such as wood paneling) without a proper fire barrier.

Took a chance on these. Great value for the price because they work great. Gave some to my electrician friend and he now loves them as well. So simple and yet effective to remove the light wiggle in my house receptacles.

Great little product. Allows you to stack them like legos to make the correct space you need. The open hole is nice too as you don’t have to unscrew the entire way, you can just slip them in. No issues so far

These were so easy to use. I live in an old house with plaster walls and needed to extend the outlet after adding beadboard. My walls are not flat and each outlet needed to be pulled out a different distance. The Spacer-N-Shim made it easy to get the right depth.You do need to have some dexterity to slide the shims in place and hold them until you get the screw started, but it wasn't that difficult.

So easy to use. I have several outlets in and outside of my garage that had sloppy outlets because the boxes were installed too deep. With these I fixed two of them in less than 15 minutes and now can’t wait to secure all of them. I would have had to spend 4-5 times more at the big name stores and been guessing at how many of those box extenders to get. I’ll probably be getting more of these to share and to make sure I never run out. Great idea. Wish I would have thought of it.
