Quality seemed good but plastic holder cracked on second use. Too late to return. Buyer beware!

This tin and baster is really quaint. The quality is pretty good as it is sturdy. The size is on the smaller side but the cup itself is deep. We have not used it so I can't speak to the cleaning process but I can't imagine it being super hard to clean. The versatility for any sauce is definitely there. I'd say it was worth the money

I always have problems with getting the BBQ sauce all over my hands and bugs and wasps get inside the sauce containers. This Stainless steel sauce cup with the basting brush connected to the bottom of the lid/handle is amazing. The side handle and the lid handle have a good grip and it is very easy to hold. The lid seals into the cup nicely and there is even a little pour lip for a controlled flow.I have never used the beaded silicone brush style before but it seems to be good for thicker sauces and there are quite a few of them so the coverage is good. The container cup is a bit on the smaller size for the amount of sauce I usually use due to a large family but that only means it is easier to hold for longer times and I just need to refill it a few times. The less mess on my hands and everywhere else is a big bonus and there is a lot less worry about little bugs or dust and leaves getting inside is a huge deal for me.

Outset Basting Brush and Stainless-Steel Sauce Cup set is one of the few BBQ gadgets I own that will be used regularly. I’ve had the chance to use it twice now, with a thick sauce and a thin sauce, and here’s my first impression. The stainless-steel body and lid are great for putting on the warming rack when it’s cold. Our thin sauce has a butter base and tends to clot in the cold. I don’t know if the handles are silicone, but they handle indirect heat okay. They get hot but they haven’t deformed while I used them. The unique bristles on this brush hold thick BBQ sauce nicely and it did a good job slathering up a rack of ribs. It didn’t perform nearly as well with our thin buttery sauce, and I had to use the pour spout and then spread the sauce over the meat. That said, there are applications where this brush would be good for a thin coating of something like seasoned oil on vegetables.Bottom line, with a bit of adapting, I was able to get this sauce cup set to do everything I want, and being able to keep it warm will make it a regular on my grill.

Do I already have silicon basting brushes, YES. Do I already have cups, YES. But I didn't have a brush and cup like this one. This basting brush and cup set is so much better than what I already have. This set allows for everything to be secured and covered in one singular item. The cup and lids are made of a thicker (no risk of denting or bending) stainless steel. The handles on the cup and lid is made of/covered by a harder silicon that won't get as hot as the stainless steel may.The cup has a large capacity for sauces (2 cups) and the lid provides an airtight seal. The stainless steel cup and lid washes up very easily, even the stickiest of sauces. The Outset basting brush and btainless steel sauce cup with handle is an excellent value for the price ($31.99 when ordered).

The Outset basting pot and brush is a stainless steel cup with a silicone brush attached to the lid. It allows you to easily have the sauce next to your grill ready for basting. You don’t need to worry about things falling into the sauce as it has a lid attached to the brush. The cup is a good size for me to use for the items we usually grill. If you are doing a large batch of meat on the grill then you might not have enough space for all the sauce in one cup to finish the job. If you are doing batches then you can refill the basting cup.The cup is stainless steel so it is easy to clean, but you need to be careful if it is near the hot grill. It can get hot and burn you if you touch the metal while it has been sitting near the heat. The handles are not metal so you do not need to worry about touching a hot handle. It might feel a bit warm from being around the heat. The brush is a bit strange to me since it is not the usual style silicone brushes I would see. It gives off the look of a mop, but there are the knots that is probably a design feature so the bristles of the brush would not stick together from the sauce.I really like the design and size for grilling meat for my family. Even if there is leftover sauce; I can leave it in the basting pot and use it the next time if i plan to use it the next day.
