Overall the chairs themselves are fine for their price point. The shade items, however, are made much more cheaply than the rest of the chair. All pieces (besides arms) are made of plastic and don’t sit evenly or really hold their place. I would return these chairs based on that but am honestly too lazy to take them apart again.Edit: seller reached out and offered to refund them or offer a slight credit. I kept them cause taking them apart to return seemed like too much work

We purchased these early spring, they’ve been outside in hot, humid Louisiana weather and are doing well. They have faded some from the sun but that’s no big deal. They are very sturdy, I weigh over three hundred and they hold up fine. They do sit a bit low to the ground so if you have a hard time getting up or down, I would not recommend. They fold up small enough to easily fit in the trunk for your trip to the beach or park. Would recommend 😀
