Reel does what it needs to. Took a while to figure out the straps. The instructions are lacking in how to. Overall it’s a good product for the cost.

I had just purchased a new roller system for Amy pool cover. It was a piece of crap (but high priced). It broke the very first time I tried to roll up the cover. So I returned it and bought this new one. it is GREAT!!! There is no comparison with the quality of the first one -and this one was actually cheaper. I can now safely roll up the cover to my 24 x 15 ‘ pool -no help needed. Highly recommend this product!!

Good product but if I had to buy another one, I would buy one with straps that slide into the reel rather than attaching with Velcro. I decided after assembly that I wanted to reel (roll) it up with the bubbles facing inside in order to better protect them. To do this meant that I had to roll it up in the opposite direction. Rolling it up in the opposite direction means that gravity will peel the Velcro off. So now I have to tuck the cover under itself, undo all of the straps and reverse them. A system that has slots to slide the straps into the aluminum reel would have a much more secure attachment and could be rolled up in any direction. It would be much more securely attached. See photos for a better understanding of the "right way" verses the "wrong way" With a non-Velcro strap system, either way, the straps remain securely attached.

We ordered this because it is adjustable to the height of our semi above/below ground pool. Makes it so much easier to pull the pool cover on and off and can be done by one person if needed. When delivered, the package had been damaged and one of the parts was horribly bent and unusable. We notified the sender with photos of the damage and they sent a replacement right away. Because it's a large package, we also weren't required to return the original. Now that's a great seller.

Affordable. Easy to use. Easy to assemble. The rolled up solar cover looks so much neater next to the pool. I used to drag the cover off in a bunched up pile. Now I just turn the handle. So much easier.
