I used this product with a true 3/4” melamine material on my shelving that meets at a 90 degrees joint. Fits very snug. It does not seem to be designed to withstand tremendous pressure and tension, but simply to keep two joints together firmly. I am satisfied.

Cannot be returned due to size and length of product. The product was not as expected from description and would cost over $300 shipping due to size and length of the 8 foot tube. Not happy with this product.
