Excellent kit. Great tools and videos. Except for one thing. The microphone was moved from the top to the bottom. Be sure to cut a hole in the adhesive to allow the microphone to pass through. You will want a U shape starting from the bottom of the glass as that is where the audio transfers through under the glass.

Tackling the job of dismantling my iMac for the purpose of increasing it's ram, I got half way through taking it apart when I realised this kit only includes a Torx T10 Screwdriver, but the job also requires a T8 and a T5, as well as a tiny #0 Philips screwdriver. I had to dash to my nearest Bunnings hardware store and buy a screwdriver set before I could continue the job.

I used this produce to replace my iMac desktop glass screen. Very self explanatory and easy to reinstall the glass screen with this product.

I love the instructional video that goes with this product. Great products and a great solution. One piece of advice though, the kit was advertised as coming with 2 sets of adhesive packets. There was only one in the kit. They should revise their product description as such. Thanks! NOTE: I contacted the seller and they sent me the 2nd set of stickers for free. I also bought a second kit and it had two sets of stickers. Kudos to the seller!

I think everything about this kit is great except for the fact that it only comes with one screen kit. It does not come with 2 as it is being sold. I bought two last month and I thought the first time was a fluke so I didn’t comment. When the second kit arrived and it still didn’t come with a second set of adhesive strips, I left this comment. $20 for a single adhesive set is too expensive in my opinion. I will say that everything in the kit is high quality though.

All went well until two weeks later I found the screen fell out as the adhesive glue strip failed. Screen is now shattered.

Simply perfect, I was able to open my iMac without issues and close it again, it is very clearly explained and I didn't have any issues at all. I also appreciate that there are two sets of stickers, just in case.

This kit comes with everything needed to open and reseal a 21.5" iMac. Included 2 sets of seals just in case I ever need to do it again and also allowed me to do an SSD swap with the drive of my choice, so I was able to save substantially over the complete OWC kit that includes an SSD and enclosure. I am very pleased and would recommend this to anyone wanting to do a drive swap in a 21.5" iMac. Following the OWC video, it was very easy, actually much easier than the old magnet screen iMacs. A summary of the video, darn simple1. Cut tape holding screen to alum using included plastic tool that is like a mini pizza cutter2. Tilt top of screen away from the alum chassis and unplug it from the logic board3. Remove screen from the chassis and remove leftover sticky tape.4. Unscrew drive holder including the included Torx screwdriver and swap drives.5. Replace the drive holder6. Put the new tape on the alum housing7. Set the screen in place bottom first, plugging back in the cables then tilt all the back to the chassis, pressing along the edges to make the tape stick.8. Marvel at your genius as you reinstall macOS using Internet Recovery, restoring from a backup or by closing the old drive to the new one (requires a budget USB 3 2.5" enclosure and cloning software like SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner).9. Step 8 was it, there is no step 9. You now have a much faster iMac.That is it. Took me 20 minutes.
