These were great for all types of saltwater fishing!! I caught two Dogfish in the bay and a Striped Bass on the surf. The bass was two 2 feet long, almost a keeper. I was fishing with my friend and he was using J hooks, and the fish kept coming off. With the circle hooks your chances of hooking fish are increased tremendously. They didn't have any bend to them either.
