This little case is perfect for protecting my "hipster PDA" or stack of index cards that I carry to organize my day-to-day life. It fits a lot of cards in the main pocket, and I find myself using the exterior card holder constantly to jot down quick notes throughout the day. Whenever I think of trying out a small pocket sized note book instead, I realize that there is nothing else that can beat this combination of size, versatility, and affordability. It has quickly become an indispensable part of my daily life.

Item appears to be very practical.I think it would be improved if the pen loop was placed up higher rather than in the centre. I like that you can keep some spare index cards inside and also have a card with your list etc on both sides. This would enable you to have a to do list one side and a shopping list on the other. (Or whateverit is you want to display or have quick access to). It fits nicely into my back pocket too

Well-made. Very convenient to just stick in your pocket and have available when you need to make notes. I pair it with a fisher space pen that fits nicely in the loop.

During the Pandemic, I started doing a lot of note-taking on vertical ruled index cards. I tried carrying them in a Field Notes book, but the corners got damaged and looked horrible when stacked with other cards. Then I found this item and it's been great. I was a little concerned that the stitching along the sides would give out quickly, but now (months later) it's still looks almost brand new. I carry about 30 cards at any one time, some in the back, some in the middle and some in the front. I do have a sacrificial card in the front, though. But it's convenient and keeps my cards in nice condition. I added a silicon book band to hold the pen I keep with the case a bit tighter together, and I have also started using it to keep my receipts I collect during the day.

Index cards are great for disposable and semi permanent notes. Unlike a sheet of paper, they are robust enough to be carried in your pants pocket. Some people file away index notes but I use small notebooks to record info I need to retain and retrieve. Jotters like this help keep index cards handy. I give this 5 stars simply because of the price point. If after giving index card note taking a try and it is not for you, well the price of this item will not make you wince if you stick it in your junk drawer. Other, more refined real leather versions have more of the cards exposed for writing. That is my only real complaint. If you decide index card note takings is for you, you may not feel compelled to upgrade to a model with better leather. I doubt I will

I started using notecards quite some time ago to keep me organized for work and home. I sometimes use just one side and then throw it away when the items are completed. Other times I use both sides. The downside is that all of my cards with tasks and notes were all over my desk, and THEY were not organized.Sometimes I could not find the one I wanted to look at. Now I keep the daily tasks on one side and the goals on the other. I organize other cards behind those so I can pull them out quickly and review them. All of my cards are now in one place and easily accessible. This also allows me to keep extra cards handy. It is small enough to put in my pants back pocket or in my small computer bag. I haven't tried my shirt pocket yet. I can take it just about anywhere without losing cards. One improvement I would be interested in would be one that has small card protectors, so you can flip through them and use both sides. You would be able to view more cards without having to remove them. I know this would make it bulkier, but I would only need about 3 card protectors.

Es de plástico como silicón, pensé que era más pequeño, pero me sirve para traerlo conmigo y tomar notas. Las hojas que trae son de buena calidad, no son de cuaderno.

I didn't realise that this was coming from the USA so delivery did take a while. Handy little note case, though, so the wait was worth it. Well made and the supply of cards is quite generous. Looks professional, too.

Great device. No charging required. High-capacity notes app. Notes can be transferred to smartphones via cameras. Would be 5 stars, but they never get the pen/pencil loop right on these. Thinner and lighter than latest iPhones. $698.23 cheaper than lastest iPhone. This version automatically filters out robocalls too. I get custom index cards done at Levengers, which double as my business cards.

the loop for keeping Pen is not necessary. it is an obstruction and gets stuck in the shirt pocket.

Explanation of heading: TheOxford At-Hand Note Card Case is marketed here on Amazon as being 3.4 inches wide, but it's about a half-inch wider, 3 7/8 by my ruler.I like this 3x5 index card holder, and I'm not returning it. I was seeking an affordable clone of the Levenger Shirt-Pocket Briefcase not just for price but because Levenger's current versions of it are lots bigger than those 3x5 cards. I have checked with Levenger, and yes the product was smaller in its first years.Indeed, having such a card case fit easily in a shirt pocket is preferable. (And on height if it's a lot longer than 5 inches it pokes out too much from said pocket.)My guess is Oxford made this "improvement" because the new width now can hold a credit/debit card down the back V pocket, horizontally and securely. It fits in some of my shirts but too tight for others, so it goes in a pants pocket or my bag.The Oxford At-Hand Card Case otherwise is sturdy, well designed and well made so it remains a keeper -- until I find a better one. And I am looking.
