There wasn't any mention of "SMACO" on the product description page. None of the pictures showed the "SMACO" brand being displayed anywhere on the product. But the Tank Holster that I got is clearly a SMACO brand pony tank holster -- it says "SMACO" in big letters on the retaining flap. I'm not saying that's a problem. I'm just saying that it makes me wonder if I got the correct product.Having said that, SMACO does sell a product that should be compatible with the holster shown in the picture. So it stands to reason that if the products are identical, either should work equally as well.But... The it might be that the SMACO tank holster is slightly smaller than the tank holster I thought I was ordering. The Velcro hook and loop patches don't completely overlap. The enclosure flap is slightly too short leaving about 1" of hooks and loops not being utilized. That might not be a big deal. But my experience has been that you want as much of the hooks and loops to be engaged as possible because they tend to fail when they get wet and it's better to have more than less. Now that I have my mini scuba tank and holster, it's unclear to me where to mount them. I did a quick search for how to mount you spare air tank and got some ideas. But my BCD doesn't have many D-Rings, and those it does have aren't located where they suggest to mount it.
