Ozone is no joke. It works extremely well but it will mess you up if you inhale it. Do NOT inhale it.In 45 minutes this thing killed the mildew smell in a car that had sat unused long enough to grow mold, but remember to air the area out extensively after using it or you will just be replacing the smell you're trying to get rid of with the smell of ozone. This generator has a timer on it, so you can set it, hit the switch, back away, and plug it in to let it start without being near it.Buying this was a heck of a lot cheaper than replacing the carpeting and seats in the car, and I can already think of other places where I can use it. Highly recommended, just be EXTREMELY careful not to inhale any of the generated ozone. Seriously, its no joke. This thing is the nuclear option for smells.

I bought this ozone generator, and I’m extremely satisfied! I used it in my bathroom, and the result was incredible – the air became so fresh and clean, with no musty or unpleasant odors. It works very powerfully, and within just 15–20 minutes, I could feel the difference. It’s also very easy to use – I set the timer, turned it on, left the room, and when I came back, the air smelled so fresh, like after a thunderstorm!Just remember to use it only in an unoccupied space, but that’s standard for ozone generators. Overall, this is an amazing product, perfect for eliminating odors and disinfecting the air. I highly recommend it!

I work for a hotel and there are a lot of smells that happen in the rooms. Some are obvious as to what they are and some are not. One smell in particular, which we've dubbed the 'smelly feet smell,' just permeates the room and is nearly impossible to get rid of quickly. It is surprising how many rooms get this smell. We tried airing the room out, but that took days. We tried giving the carpets a quick once-over, it didn't help. We tried air freshener and air freshener machines - nothing. We finally invested in a ozone machine and found our solution. But, one ozone machine was not enough. So, I ordered this one. This unit is more than capable of handling our 350 sq ft rooms. About 20 minutes and no more smelly feet smell. It is quick, efficient, and gets the job done. There are two minor drawbacks, but for machines in this price range, it is to be expected. First, there is no controlling the output/speed. Second, there is no way to clean the steel plates inside. In fact, taking the machine apart is strongly discouraged per the directions. This will cut down on how long the machine will last. Outside of these minor issues, this won't disappoint.

I ordered the Ozone Generator Machine 60,000 Mg/H Negative Ion High Capacity Ozone Odor Eliminator Odor Removal Ionizer Air Purifier Ozone Ionizer Deodorizer for Home, Basement, Smoke and Pet Room. My home has some pretty terrible old house smells as well as mildew type issues. I don't have any evidence of actual mold growth here yet, but I do have evidence of being saturated with it in my body which I'm receiving help for and my specialist recommended me getting one of these machines as well as investigating the house more about it. Because of those results, that's ultimately why I'm using this in different areas, especially places that have had leaks or were damp. I'm also using it on carpets that smell like wet dog. This is a decently sized unit. It has a detachable power cord. There is a timer on it, power button in the back, and do you want to flip the blue switch on the front in order for it to start. It pops back when the timer goes off. Initially, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get it to work when I hit the power button in the back, but that teal colored button on the front needs to be flipped. There isn't too much information in the directions, and you essentially just need to do your research on this anyways and use your intuition and expertise. You do not want to breathe this stuff in, as it is toxic in the lungs, can kill things like bugs and plants, and you definitely don't want animals or humans around the residue. I accidentally inhaled quite a bit doing things, and I was very unwell for a few days in my lungs which is my own fault for not being more careful. I used this in a variety of ways. I first did my bedroom and connected bathroom for a few hours with the door shut. I also placed this over some vents in the walls and put some plastic and tape around it so the ozone only went into the vents ensuring no plastic ever touched the front or back of the generator. When doing this, I could smell the ozone coming out of other vents in the house unless the other vents were covered, so I don't recommend being in the house unless you cover them. I had a ton of magnetic vent covers that I don't use that I sealed the other vents. I did not have the air running through the vents or for a very long time after I was finished and opened windows to let everything air out. In the rooms that I focused on, I placed a big fan blowing out the open window to assist with removing it quicker which really helped. I didn't have to use this very long in small areas like small bathrooms. I also used these in two of my fireplaces that I've never used in the 7 years I've lived here. I had some leaks in one that have been fixed, and it's just an area that tends to get damp in my wet climate even if there aren't leaks and they smell badly. I placed the generator inside facing upwards and had a rechargeable fan next to it that was blowing upwards into the chute. This is the part where the detachable power cord was really helpful because my fireplace doors are connected to the fireplace and they open like an accordion where I could pull the power cord through one of the openings on top instead of the middle area where they connect and close. When doing that I could get them to almost close so I didn't have to worry about much ozone coming out the front to evacuate. If the cord was in the front were those doors closed, I'd have to remove all animals and plants. I did this for over an hour, and I didn't even smell any ozone in the rooms which was great. It seemed to be really helpful, and then I put fresh insulation in there which I usually do to eliminate drafts. I'm not really sure about the longevity, but so far so good and this has been helpful. You just need to be very careful, use common sense, do your own research, and make sure everyone is protected. Also, if you suspect mold or know you have an issue, I recommend a professional so it can be found and properly eradicated including regarding leaks. People can get incredibly ill from mold, especially if you already have immune issues like myself where your body can't fight it off like regular bodies can. I'm finally starting to feel better after getting treatment for it, but I would have never known unless I was tested for it. The beginning treatment was pretty hard as all my symptoms that I didn't understand before were dramatic, thank you.

The unit includes to separate modes: one for anion generator and the other for an ozone generator. I've used both modes, but more-so the ozone generator to help with our basement. In the anion mode, there's still a production of ozone that can be smelled so I make sure that there's nobody in the area that's being treated and to properly vent before using the area again. We used this item to help with our basement that was recently flooded after a heavy storm. After pumping the water out, we used a dehumidifier and ran it for a week to get as much moisture out as we can. However, there was still a musty smell that lingered. We managed to get the ozone generator up and running. We did two treatments with the machine, each session running for about 60 minutes and airing out in between. The timer knob on the unit works fine, it would be difficult if someone is trying to go for an exact to the minute runtime. After the second treatment and airing out the area, that musty smell is completely gone.
