Many late model Chrysler, Jeep, and RAM vehicles are equipped with an Active Noise Canceling (ANC) module. When adding aftermarket amplifiers in these vehicles, this factory ANC module must be bypassed for proper operation of the aftermarket audio equipment and avoid possible damage to the ANC module. The PAC ANC-CH01 provides a plug-and-play solution for bypassing the ANC module in these vehicles, eliminating the need to cut factory wiring.

2019 Ram 1500 Rebel, 8.4 standard radio. I was getting random low end vibrations from time to time when driving around. I traced them to the speakers and after a little research found that is a common problem with active noisy cancelling in these trucks. After more research I found that people have solved this by removing some wires, but I didn't want to go that route. In that research I find these bypass modules. These work great! Super easy install, takes about 30 seconds. Works immediately! No more ANC, so no more ANC issues. Everything else works as it should (voice control, phone speaker, etc.). Much easier than removing wires and easily reversible if you want to go back.

I installed some aftermarket speakers in my 2021 5th gen RAM 1500 and started getting this weird droning sound. Thought I had something going wrong with my truck. Sounded like it wasn't downshifting, and it sounded like the exhaust was louder. Did a little research and found this is a pretty common issue and the fix is to bypass the ANC (Nose Cancellation) under the front driver's seat in my truck. Took 5 mins to install and fixed all my issues. I didn't notice any more road noise than there was before either, so no issues there. Never would have dreamed that this could be caused by upgrading speakers. Thankfully it's an easy fix.

I recently purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 pick-up that had aftermarket wiring for an amp in it. I had a Basslink sub and decided to hook it up. It worked great, until I started the truck... The factory speakers were fine, but the sub started to cut on and off as I was driving... Started to research online and found on one of the forums they referred to this bypass unit because the ANC unit was the cause of the problem... So I got one, and it worked perfectly. Only took a few minutes to install, and have been happy with it since.

Vehicle Info: 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab. 8.4" stereo display. Not the premium sound package (Not stock Alpine speakers).I replaced all 4 stock speakers in the doors and as soon as I went for a drive, the noise was immediately noticeable. It's tough to describe, but I guess a deep "droning" noise comes close. It sounded like the engine got way louder even though it was obviously operating as usual. Definitely will give you a headache if you had to deal with it for more than a few minutes. I was muffed at why the heck this was happening for sure. I've replaced dozens of speakers over the years and there really isn't much to it.......So, after doing a ton of research I learned that my truck (and many other vehicles nowadays) have what's called 'Automatic Noise Cancelling' or ANC built into the vehicles. Because of the specs of my upgraded speakers, they are able to produce these sounds that the crappy stock speakers can't do, hence creating this new, awful noise.I spent hours trying to find wiring diagrams and reading blogs and posts and forums and eventually I just decided to take a shot on this harness. It arrived in less than 24 hours, took less than 2 minutes to install, and right away, I took my truck for a spin around the block. VOILA! It's magically gone!Basically what the harness does is bypass the wiring for the ANC system in the vehicle. Everything else works, including phone calls and bluetooth, and as a matter of fact, my new speakers actually sound like they should now!I think the harness was $24 or $25 but I would have EASILY paid way more than that to get these kind of results!

If your car/truck gets that low frequency droning/humming noise, then this is the 'fix' for you. Dodge vehicles with ANC (active noise cancelling) equipped seem to all collectively have this issue. The anc microphone's pick up feed back from the speakers and creates the sound, certain conditions such as ambient temperature, or motor rpm's may cause it to happen. This plug allows you to bypass the anc device at the amp. Its more of a removal than a fix but it stops the sound so it was worth it to me. Road noise does increase on the highway slightly but still better. Takes all of 5 seconds to install on a Ram 1500 2019. Times may vary based on how long it takes for you to access your amp.

This product did not work for my 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn. When plugged in it bypassed everything. No sound from factory door speakers or microphone input for phone call. Spent a week going back and forth with technical support with redundant questions and no solutions. I would only get one response a day with questions an no answers. Questions from support where phrase to make it sound like I had no idea what I was doing. I do not claim to be an expert in this but when I informed support that I only plugged in the bypass and nothing else. Then to be asked if I plugged in anything else right after being told I did not, is not very helpful. If anyone else is looking to buy this bypass buy at your own risk and if it works for you congrats. Thank you for attending my TED Talk.
