This is a high vis for someone who does real work, and uses their vest on a daily basis. There are many accessory pockets and the components are well made. Several of the pockets zip, and most are pleated out for better capacity for bulky items. Fit is typical. The velcro pockets have pull tabs and the velcro itself is well attached (a detail often skimped on with lesser vests). Honestly I am not sure how they can sell this at this price. Only one issue, and sadly considering the rest of it, might be a deal breaker. The ID pocket (the one with the window) does not close. It doesn't even have a flap to cover it. Anything that is in it is VERY prone to falling out. With how well thought out and put together the rest of it is, this HAD to be a deliberate choice, but why?

My dad wanted this safety vest for traveling, and itβs worked out great. The 10 pockets are super handy for carrying small essentials, and the mesh fabric keeps it breathable. The cushioned collar adds comfort, especially for long days out and about. He got it in black (XL), and it still offers great visibility thanks to the 3M reflective strips. A solid, functional choice whether youβre working or on the go.

This is a very nice vest, but the pockets seem a little weird and more for show than function. The construction and appearance was better than most other vests I've tested or used.

The PACIFIC PPE 10 Pockets Hi-Vis Black Safety Vest does the job. I don't work in construction so I can't speak to how well this safety vest holds up on the job. I was interested in getting this vest for work at night on a stalled car and dog walking. The vest is light weight and fits well when ordered in the right size.

I needed a safety vest to work at a local rental yard, and I didnt want any runn of the mill safety vest. This one stands out and will get you noticed. Very sharp looking. And the fit was great. Plenty of pockets. Would purchase again when the time comes.

I *really* like this safety vest. I work in an industry (fuel/energy services) that can get messy, between field dirt/mud, shop and equipment oil/fuel, and miscellaneous other grime.This means that traditional florescent yellow/green/orange PPE gets filthy/smudged/stained and starts to look bad pretty quick.This black design strikes a perfect balance between letting me stay effectively visible at night or low-light, while also staying a lot nicer looking overall since black doesn't show smudging of oil and dirt as much. It really looks cool!The quality is good-- same as the other higher-end vests I have bought, and it's plenty breathable. Remember that black soaks up heat in the sun though, so I might not use this as much when it's beating down mid-summer.I don't need to use most of the pockets, so I can't speak to them aside from the stitching looks solid and I expect they'd hold up fine so long as you keep in mind this is a lightweight vest-- don't be putting a ton of sharp-edged or heavy stuff in them-- use common sense. I think I'm going to buy one in a larger size to wear over my bulkier winter clothes as well-- really pleased with this thing and I think you will be too.

I like the sleek look of this black hi vis. Itβs definitely not as bright as a yellow one would be but there is definite visibility there. I love all of the pockets. The fit is a little big on me but I think it will be good during winter time because it can fit over my jackets.

This vest is comfortable with lots of pockets and a zip front. The product description states that It meets the ANSI 107 Type R Class 1 standard, which is the lowest amount of required reflective material for non-hazardous environments. The standard suggests this class of vest be used for roadway construction flaggers, school crossing guards, and utility personnel. Because it has a black background, it may be suitable for use in the daytime or well-lighted areas indoors in factories or warehouses. The material is a mesh so that it βbreathesβ well and will not be too hot in summer weather. It is unsuitable for use in dangerous conditions, as the background color is black, and a vest with an orange or bright green background is required for hazardous environments (see the ISO 20471 standard). It is big enough (in my size, which is XL) to fit over a winter coat. It is 100% polyester and is marked for cold water washing. While the product description says it meets the ANSI 107, Type R Class 1 standard, the washing label is marked βThis vest is not ANSI/ISEA 107 compliant.β
