I have an old Homelite chainsaw that the factory no longer supports. I replaced all the tubing and it ran for a few minutes and died. I'm pretty sure the old ethanol gas left in the system was the culprit. The chainsaw was basically worthless, but I couldn't justify a new one. Using this kit, a can of carburetor cleaner, and a YouTube video. I was able to get the saw running. The total cost of everything was less than $30. The sense of accomplishment in repairing the saw myself coupled with having a working saw made it all worthwhile. The kit doesn't come with instructions, so make sure you research your application, have a good tool assortment, and mechanical aptitude.

the kit came with wrong needle, the needle was too long, so had to use the old needle on carburetor, other than the needle the kit was complete with two kits, unfortunately the other kit has the long needle also.

As advertised, the oil mesh, gaskets and diaphragm work perfectly fine. On a side note, The metering level was an hit or miss.
