Wasn't anything like Sugru that is a much better solution. It would not adhere to a thin sheet of stainless steel.

I've been using fixits for a while now and can't believe how handy they are. I used to use sugru but not any more. Fixits are reusable and are much better value. It won't glue things together, it's not a glue, but they work so much better than tape and it's much stronger. Fabulous product, easy to use & reusable. Has become a home essential.

Not tried this out yet. Purchased after seeing it shown on a TV programme. A useful standby in an emergency.

I like Fixits more and more as I use them around the house. I've fixed the rubber strap on my kid's school shoes, a broken hook, a bin that clips onto the cupboard, a plastic bedside book/ drink holder and made a new end cover for a chisel as the original one has disappeared. Fixits harden to a strong plastic that can handle a very decent amount of weight and work well. My only issue is that they can be tricky to use as when the stick melts in the hot water it can stick to everything (see the residue on the hook photo) and can harden before you have attached it successfully. I therefore use metal tweezers or a metal spoon to hold the Fixits stick or moulded ball in the water then pour more hot water over it in situ when needed. I tried using a hairdryer but found it difficult. Fixits are more durable than Sugru with certain fixes (I found the latter sometimes detached from the repaired object over time with certain plastics), but not heat resistant. The other product is more suitable for fixing my favourite cracked coffee mug and also it adheres better to certain materials that Fixits don't (it worked as a metal key fob) so I will keep them both for repairs. I like having the tin as it's easy to store and, considering all the things that I've fixed so far that really bugged me or were formerly rendered unusable, definitely worth the money.

Le stecchette di bio plastica sono spesse e resistenti ma basta scaldarle (in acqua, con il phon) diventano malleabili e si possono lavorare come serve. Quando induriscono, e ci mettono pochi minuti, tornano resistenti.

These sticks have saved me from having to buy very expensive replacement chargers for phones. laptops and tablets that had charger cords fraying near the device connection. Very easy to use and are holding up very well after months of use. They actually make the charger cord stronger like they should have been made in the 1st place. 1 stick has so far repaired 4 cords with still about a third of it left.

You have about 1-2 seconds after heating this product to try to affix it to a surface, making it extremely difficult to work with. It would not adhere to ceramic or wood. Simply put, it does not work!

Don’t use this on anything that will be getting hot, such as dishware you’ll be running through the dishwasher. It will melt again.
