We had the original magnetic locks (not this brand) 15+ years ago when our youngest was a toddler. While they worked great, the unlocking magnets weren’t very strong so you had to drill a fairly large hole into the inside of your cabinet door and set the lock in it. It was a ton of work, and I didn’t like that you had to damage the cabinets to install them.Now that we are childproofing for our grandbaby I was dreading having to do all of that again, so I was thrilled to discover these locks that are the “new and improved” version of what we had! I was very impressed with the strength of the magnet that unlocks easily through my 1” thick cabinet doors, and the very strong double sided tape has been wonderful. It was so nice not to have to screw in all of the pieces, and since it is a very renter friendly design we also plan to gift a set to our son and daughter-in-law for the home they are moving into soon.But hands down my favorite thing about these is the installation cradle. It makes placement and installation so quick and easy! I was able to install all that I needed in my kitchen and dining room during my lunch hour and everything was ready to go for the next day when our grandbaby came to visit. As an added bonus, they are also keeping our very curious cat out of the cupboards too.Very pleased with this product and definitely will buy again!

Really wanted to love these because they’re a good price compared to others but unfortunately the 3m tape wasn’t strong enough. I didn’t want to screw them in place, so I had to return and buy a different brand.

Love our new Magnetic Baby Proofing lock system. We have a macaw parrot who likes to open our cabinets and throw items out of them. This product has reduced so many messes since installation! Can't recommend enough! Great product and easy to install. You can either stick them to cabinets or screw them in. They provide both and give extras! They are discreet and function well. Not hard to get used to using, either. Thank you, thank you!

I recently installed these cabinet locks in our new home, and I am impressed with their design and ease of use. After moving, I finally got around to installing them on our cupboards. Initially, I was concerned about the adhesive, but I found that with proper surface preparation, the locks held very well.For one of the cabinets, I did notice the striker came off easily at first. However, this was a great learning moment. It turned out that ensuring the cabinets are thoroughly cleaned before applying the adhesive is crucial. Once I properly cleaned the surfaces, the adhesive worked much better, providing a much stronger hold.I appreciate that the product comes with a free warranty, giving me peace of mind. It's important to register within 7 days of receiving the product, so make sure to do that if you purchase it.Overall, these cabinet locks are a great solution for childproofing, and I'm satisfied with their performance after understanding the importance of surface preparation and proper installation.

It took me some time and troubleshooting to figure out how to install, but the adhesive is SUPER strong once it’s had a minute to settle. So even with all of my times applying and removing, it still held once I finally had the right placement. It’s also super fun to use the magnet key, which conveniently sticks onto the fridge. Would highly recommend. After the first attempt was figured out, the second cabinet installation was a breeze. These are super functional, renter friendly, and I think they eveb add some design quality to my kitchen. I had messed up one of the cabinet installations at first and when first applied, it was easy to remove, but thankfully, I don’t think the baby will be able to for some time!!

I love this product my baby gets into everything now that he's walking no matter how many toys he has lol he's always getting into stuff he's not supposed to this was a awesome product and you get what your paying for other companies give you so little for so much money and it's not worth it I love the design I love that there are so many keys other companies don't do that I appreciate this company for caring about our children without asking for so much money easy to install very durable easy to open clear instructions
