ON: fuel on - lever pointing up - allow you to operate with normal fill-ups.

OFF: fuel off - lever horizontal - completely shuts off gas flow.

Bought this for a customer's 2000 KDX220R dirt bike. Seems to be well made. Fit the tank nicely with no leaks. The fuel shut off works fine. Good price. Highly recommended by the small engine shop!

Very poor quality. Ending up breaking as I was trying to put it on. Don’t waste your $$

Fits perfectly on a KLX125. The original Petcock had the tubes literally melted into small pieces. This replacement seems to be a bit sturdier since the fuel tubes are made of metal.
