I used this as a replacement for the non-working dual trumpet horn on my 1987 Carver Montego 32' cabin cruiser. Just what the USCG ordered.

This horn set arrived on time and works very well. Appears to be good quality and has a nice tone. It’s definitely loud enough.

Bought this for a Trawler Horn. Great Sound Great Price. Louder and better pitch than many of the super expensive horns. Sounds like a Tractor Trailer Air Horn. Same Pitch. Will let the whole Marina know of your presence. Would suggest addition of Horn relay for safety but works without one.Would defiantly purchase again and recommend this one to any Boater.

Looks great, the sound exceeded my expectations.Installation is very easy - two positive and negative leads, which hook up to your horn switch. They are loud. But sound great.

Bought for Pontoon. Not too loud, just right. Horn is a keeper. Very well tuned.... Will put on pickup truck for winter... Might make a person passing in front of you throw their groceries however OK Stuff.

For what they are they work awesome. Mounted them in front of my truck underneath the radiator, pointing towards the driverside and they are noticeably louder then stock but not true “train” horn loud but that is fine because they still sound tuff and not like a wimpy Honda horn so it fits the need perfectly! Being 12v set up, install was a breeze, tapped straight into factory horn wiring!

UPDATE: Short product life. Stopped working after 2 seasons.--------------ORIGINAL REVIEW: Did not work with the standard 14 gauge wire from horn button because not enough current. Had to install a high current relay triggered from horn button to switch power from 10 gauge main power feed. Spliced with marine power bus bars. Time consuming project to do correctly. Horns are loud and work well. It was worth the effort.

This really is LOUD! You WILL get noticed with this. And you don't have to mount a compressor and tubing. All electric makes it very straight forward. My old horn on the boat was wired through a relay, so that's how I wired this one.It might have been a good idea to install this during the day. The urge to test it was irresistible! It was late and I woke every dog for several blocks. The next morning a couple of my immediate neighbors came over to admire the new addition to my boat. I think one have a wire cutter in his back pocket.

Much louder than OEM installed horn, straight forward 12v (2 pair) wiring and hardware kit. I used replacement stainless screws to go into the boat deck instead of the threaded (with nut) screws provided. Also to note that although the horn length and size was identical to my boat OEM horn, the mounting bracket had different orientation bolt hole pattern, which required me to fill the old holes and make new holes. The mounting bracket could not be removed and swapped due to the screw pattern holding it on the horn....so if this is of concern to you, be aware of it.I must admit, I press the horn button way too much now because this thing is so stinking loud!! Love it!

Great, LOUD SOUND!! I was concerned it wouldn't be loud enough, and sound weak. This is not the case at all! It sounds just like a large ship should! I've found this to be worth the money so far. I've had it installed around 4 mths on a lake Eire boat and have been very happy!
