How to Insert & Replace Needle

Step1: Before inserting the needle, unlock the white needle lock by turning it outwards as shown in the picture.

Step2: Insert the needle into the gun hole as far as it will go. Make sure the needle slot is perfectly aligned with the gun slot.

Step3: Turn the white needle lock back to its inward position.
- Attention: Resistance in the handle indicates that the needle is not inserted correctly and needs to be reinstalled. Repeat steps 1, 2 & 3.
How to load & remove the fasteners?
1. Loading Fasteners: Insert the T-end of the fasteners into the T-shaped slot on the gun. Just like shown in the picture. Carefully push the fasteners inward until it reaches its limit.
- The thinner end of the fasteners is the T-end, which can easily snap into the groove.
2. Removing Fasteners: Pull the trigger without releasing, and then pull out the fasteners.
How to use with the tagging gun?

Step1: Firstly, pass the needle through your tag.

Step2: Then, pass the needle through your merchandise.

Step3: Quickly pull the trigger and release it completely. The fastener should be securely attached. You can easily separate it from the remaining fasteners.
- The needle is sharp. Protect the needle with the needle cap when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- 1. Don't keep pulling the trigger if there is a jam. This could cause harm to you or damage the gun.
- 2. If you occasionally experience a jam with the fasteners, first release the trigger and take out the needle. Then carefully remove the stuck fastener from the gun or needle.
- 3. If you can't easily and safely remove a fastener from the needle, simply replace the needle with a new one.
- 4. The needle may create visible holes in certain types of fabric. It is recommended to only insert the needle into clothing seams, sewn-in labels and similar areas.

This is the best ever of its kind. We tried five different ones that were way more expensive and all were difficult to use and often didn’t work. This one is amazing and works every time plus comes with great instructions on how to load and troubleshoot. We love it for our quilt shop.

Wow so. It had great reviews which is what prompted my purchase. I ordered this item to prepare for a large consignment sale a few days after it arrived. Mind you I ordered this tagger instead of baby pins to attach my items together. The needle had extra black plastic at the base which made installing it a pain. I finally got it in. Then it works for the whole first strip. And then I realize it’s leaving large holes (as big as the giant needle) in all my children’s clothes! Which is a huge deal in infant items ! And majorly affected my sale value! Don’t waste your money and time on this tagger. I tried to use the second strip on my household items like throw pillows and was attaching them through their original tags and the entire second strip jammed, spit out the tags or just didn’t grab plastic. I was adjusting and fixing with each single application! What a waste of time ! I’m attempting to get my money back!

I ordered this tag gun last week because I've moved and have no idea where my previous tag gun has hidden. I must say, this tag gun is my favorite. It's easy to put together, works great, comes with extra needles, etc. The only down side was that there were no instructions included and I couldn't figure it out. Thank goodness for youtube.com After watching a video or two and finally understanding the instructions, it was simple to install the needle, insert the plastic tag strings, and start tagging. This is an easy-to-use tag gun that is made well and easily goes through tough fabric, thick cardboard, etc.
