Total waste of money and broke before fully installed. Wasted a lot of time with this product and upon inspection it had very thin, sand cast, non ferrous metal for the end brackets. In the last picture you can see the deep scuffs the wrench and nut made as it was being tightened. Would not buy again after seeing the thickness and soft metal used to secure the spring on the end.

Likely made at the same factory where the other more expensive springs are made. Looks to have good quality, anchor ends appear to be better made than my old spring. Installation went smooth, works after a week no issues.

My original spring which came with the door manufacturer broke after 10 years of regular use. I called a local installer and he replaced smaller diameter spring, which was making noise and automatic door opener struggle to open and close, he readjusted and still the same and broke within 2 years. This time I called many local installers and all carried the same smaller ones and try to convince me that it support the door weight. So I decided to purchase this and the shipping was super fast from US. I watched YouTube video instructions MANY TIMES, since I never installed this and all my friends told me it is dangerous.NOTE : Take your time, never rush when unwinding and winding.Now no noise. Door is a moothly opening and closing.
