used this product to mount one of my smaller PA speakers into my subwoofer for gigs while on drums. love the easy set up and it was just the adapter i needed to pull off the job.

These are handy conversion adapters for subwoofers. I have both styles of sub, threaded and socket forpole mounting. With these, I only have to keep one set of poles in the setup bag. Anything that savesunnecessary weight and time are great, since setup/teardown time is usually tight.They thread on easily and match smoothly/squarely with the pole.Just what I needed!

I thought that my subwoofers had screw-in type inputs. I was wrong. When I ordered my stands, I could not use them without an adapter. I got these and they work but they aren't a snug fit. When in use, the top speakers have some movement to them. They sway. After doing research, I found out that this is very typical and normal. I've tried to wedge in different things to see if I could get a snug fit -- socks, paper, and Popsicle sticks and nothing seemed to work. The closest I've come is using a very thin, stocking sock. I have been searching for some sort of ring adapter that would help but haven't had any success. I can say that even using the adapter without any additional support, I don't feel like my speakers will fall, I just don't like that they have a sway to them. I really do like the seamless look of having this type of setup.For those of you keeping score, here's the breakdown:Fit- BEffectiveness- BValue- BOverall Grade: B
