Wasn’t sure what to expect. Happy with the sound wether fx side is in top or bottom. Closing hat sounds similar to a clap sample. Its nothing like a typical B8 or Zxt sound. Adds a cool snap to the set.If you buy the full combo pack all the cymbals are the same size so they offer interchangeable sound
