I’ve tried about every line of cymbals Paiste makes, and the PST8 is without a doubt up there as some of the best sounding cymbal lines they have. I think the only downside of this line is the limited size options. This 18” crash sounds easily as good as a 2002, Giant Beat or Big Beat Crash. Easily the best line of the PST series, but as good as those others I mentioned before. Highly recommended!

Great sound at a great price! Very nice punchy bright crash cymbal that sounds professional. There is no cheapness to the tone even though this is priced like a budget cymbal. Nice feel when you strike the cymbal and the look is pretty sweet as well. Paiste is awesome!
