Your cart is empty.This is a panel mount miniature mini K-type thermocouple jack ( or socket ). The female connector will work with the newer miniature k-type thermocouple connectors. This will allow you to use k-type thermocouples from almost any current manufacturer. The plastic housing is made from durable yellow nylon and is stable up to 356 degree Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius. The connector can transmit the temperature signal over the full K-type thermocouple temperature range, up to 2598 °F or 1370 °C. The contacts of this socket are made from compensating metals, chromel and alumel, and will not introduce a temperature error in your measurement. This is probably best for metal panel mounting but with a little care, I was able to form a mounting hole in a wood panel.

Used in a 240V PID controller I build for homebrewing. What can I say. It is a connector you cut a hole in a box to receive. It fit and stayed in place.
