I was able to install this in 15 minutes. The only things needed for install that are not included are a rubber mallet/hammer and a 5/16 metal drill bit. It installed snug, seamless fit and extremely well-made. I lost half my skeg to a rock I couldn't see. Now my skeg extends below my prop once more and I am protected again. Great product!

This will not fit a 200 hp + Yamaha! I received the same part number, but it only fits a 40-50 hp Yamaha. Had to return.

According to Panther, the 35-SS705 fits Yamaha 40 - 50 HP, 2 and 4 - Stroke, 2001 - 2011 . Amazon has incorrect information in their title and description for this product. If you need a Safe Skeg for V Max SHO (200, 225, 250 HP, you would need to buy the 35-SS720
