This paper shredder was purchased 01/16/2025 and as of March 1, 2025 has stopped working. The "Return Window" has closed therefore I was unable to return it. The unit got hot, I turned it off for a day, came back and it never worked again. I did not shred the allotted amount of sheets which was 6 for this particular model. I only shredded 3-4 sheets at a time on approximately 3 occasions. The unit was not used that often for it to have burned out or stopped operating.

The sensor on the paper insert broke after like 6 months of using it. Its absolutely terrible and the paper gets stuck inaide of the blades sometimes too and you have to manually pull the paper out of it sometimes to make it go into the bin. Its unfortunate that I wasted my money on this.

It's does not shred papers into small pieces

It worked pretty well, but I had to empty the container several times because the container was small. I did have a lot to shred, so after a while, the motor was pretty hot. I had to stop for about 15 minutes until it cooled off enough to continue. I don't think this will be too much of a problem with the normal amount of papers to shred. This 1st shredding was a large amount.
