Each knife is made for a specific purpose and using the right knife for a particular step in your food preparation can be more effective in bringing you better results for the perfect slices or cuts. It is, however, important to save yourself the hassle of going out to buy different knives separately. What youre looking for is a set that has it all.

I had to sharpen this knife upon recieving. Do yourself a favor. If you want a "sharp" paring knife, get a Victornox. I made the mistake of trying this one. Should have gone with what I've always used.

I accidentally threw away my paring knife and ordered this one. It is very sharp! And the red handle might help me notice it if I try to throw it away!

I bought this knife when I saw it was "German Stainless Steel" and priced very reasonably. The ad does say it's a "German Stainless Steel Blade", however I found this to be misleading as the knife is made in China, not Germany.In all fairness, China makes many high quality items. China also makes low cost items that could be better if price wasn't the leading goal instead of quality.This knife appears to be made well, but I haven't used it yet to comment on how well it holds up compared to other similar items.The four star rating instead of five is based only on the fact that the description is misleading. Perhaps if the description somewhere said this knife was made in China with a German Stainless Steel blade I'd have given it 5 stars instead of four. Then again, if the description included "Made in China", I wouldn't have thought it was such a good deal and I might not have purchased it.Buyer beware!

This knife arrived promptly. It's very sharp, and I like the red color to stand out in my kitchen knives drawer.

If you are a florist, these are the best knives to have to cut stems! Can’t speak much on food prep though. Comfortable to hold handle and easy to have control over cuts. Really enjoy using and they last a long time.

This is a nice, sharp, lightweight knife. Larger size handle fits my hand better than most paring knives. very sharp thin blade. The ad makes it sound like the knife is made in Germany, but it's actually made in China "with German steel". I like the knife very much and it makes a good steak knife also.
