The stand is pretty and the carving inside the snow globe is pretty but the music box on ours doesn't work. You crank it all the way and it plays one note at a time sporadically for the rest of the day. A little unnerving.

This music box was a perfect gift for my 9 year old granddaughter although it would also be a favorite of mine as well. It is beautifully made and the music and snow delightful !
