I don’t know how I functioned without this for all those years before. Installs bearings perfectly without the worrying of pounding with a piece of wood and a hammer. Worth every penny!

I've pressed in several Shimano mountain bike bottom brackets with this tool and it is a pleasure to use. The parts are well made, well labeled, well packed and organized in the quality case. The case is very welcome as my tools aren't in a tool chest but get moved around sometimes very long distances regularly. The parts I used had very precise tolerances and allowed me to press in the cups perfectly aligned. This is particularly important if you are using retaining compound as in my experience it won't come back out with cutting it out. You want to get it right the first time. Now that I own this tool I will change bottom brackets more regularly if I have any suspicions as a diagnostic aid. My only concern is that in the future there will be a need for new drifts as manufacturers introduce even more bb standards and there is no place in the case to store extras. That would have been easy to plan for but they didn't. I'll be likely to make my own, no doubt crappier, foam case insert or hack new holes into the existing one to hold the new drifts unless Park Tool also eventually sells just a foam insert with more drift holes :-)

I bought this tool to install my BB on my road frame. I decided to take the $200 plunge to have a nice tool that myself and friends could use. But upon arrival I opened to see that the end cap piece and magnet are nowhere to be found.Tool is not usable without at least the end piece.I was extremely frustrated because i was trying to finish up my bike for a ride the following day.The box it came in appeared to be factory sealed. So looks like the manufacture left it out.But it looked like a nice tool. I'm sure it would have functioned perfectly if I had the end piece.I believe that the bike shop I took my frame to used the exact same tool the install my BB. They only charged me $20 total......so $20 vs $200. You pick. Thanks Amazon for your great return service.
