About this item

  • Cartridges keep ink contained so replacing it is a clean process, and are fitted with ink reserves ready to be released with a tap when pen is low.
  • Permanent ink lays down smoothly, dries fast and won't smear.
  • Suitable for use with all Parker fountain pens.
  • Parker Quink inks are specially designed and formulated to the most exacting standards to ensure that Parker products deliver faultless performance.

The Parker Quink is a high-quality and smooth flowing ink that has been used for almost a century. Quink ink was developed in the early 1900's as a revolutionary ink that eliminated the need for blotting. These days the majority of fountain pen inks available feature smooth flow and quick drying times, but the Parker Quink still remains as a classic favorite.

Okay, so either I’m just a stupid Zoomer or I’ve discovered something revolutionary. I have 2 Parker Fountain pens and I love them… but it seems like only after a few days I run out of ink regardless of using the disposable refills, or the converter. It doesn’t quite look like it’s out of ink, but it also doesn’t write until I change the cartridge. Then the other day I thought “what if I run the tip under water and then wipe dry with a paper towel?” People I kid you not. I have discovered the cure for cancer. Okay not really for cancer, but oh my gosh! If you ever think you’re out of ink, but also questioning if you’re actually out of ink. Just run the tip of the pen under water or swish it around in a cup of water then dry off the tip and you’ll start writing again instantly! I’d like to apologize to my fellow fountain pen users for all the quink cartridges I’ve thrown away because I thought they were empty :( I have now seen the light and changed my ways.

I like using bottled inks but they require a converter in my fountain pens. These cartridges hold more ink so I use them in the pen I frequently use. These fit Parker fountain pens. I'm not sure the black is truly a permanent ink but no complaints.

Bought this for my son, and it worked well during his cursive writing practices. It does fit Parker models well.

I used to use a syringe or other method to refill some of these, or on a couple pens the refillable insert which I still use for some, but was using one pen a bit more and to get the Quink out and do through the refilling and cleaning up drips and all was something which just got in the way. I got a couple packs of these and can now only pause a few seconds and be back to using the pen again. Quick, easy, clean, fit perfectly of course. I can experience both refill and disposable and be happy.

I have a Stainless Steel and Chrome Parker Jotter Fountain Pen. These 10 fountain pen ink cartridges currently cost $7.30, which is reasonable judging by how long each cartridge lasts. I have only taken one ink cartridge out of the box, and I have been writing pretty frequently with it for going on 3 months. I expect to be able to write with it for a good bit longer, as the ink level is still about halfway. It is a cheaper option than a converter and using ink out of an ink bottle, though that comes with it's own curse. The Parker converter and Parker ink wells, according to their reviews, outperform disposable ink cartridges 2:1, with claimed better flow, dry time, and permanence. The cheapest Parker fountain pen converter and a bottle of their finest Parker black ink would currently cost about 17.81. The Parker brand ink wells come with 57ml of ink, which should be able to refill the converter will over 15 times. Do with this information what you will, but refills are a good option if you aren't looking for peak performance out of your pen, and just need to sign off on a few documents every now and again. If you are looking for that peak performance, while nearing twice the price, it lasts over twice as long, AND you only ever need to purchase one converter.

The product is just right for my Parker 51. Though a long lead time but worth waiting and I particularly like the way the sellers have been cooperative . Well done
