Parrots like to chew things, they Need to or their adorable little beaks become uncomfortable and they might chew on you, their bleved human a bit too hard and then there's blood, probably some yelps of pain, swaks of terror...mass hysteria. Avoid that, buy bird toy components like these, make cool and SAFE toys so they can destroy to their little birdy hearts content.Pros: safe dye usedGood quality ratan ballsZero chemical smellCons: larger birds will want either bigger balls or a lot of these smaller ones so good bye money, but it was they chew on this...or your great grandmother's china hutch.

Like the colors since parakeets see color. At times they are happy to try to unwind them

Formed nicely with few ends poking out. I tend to err on the side of caution. I soaked groups of colors in boiling water until the water was fairly clear and they were fully saturated (didn't float). After completely drying in the sun, the colors are slightly less vibrant, but still very colorful. I am satisfied that these are safe for my pets (cats), as far as toxicity.

Both lovebirds and Quakers love these straw balls. However, a Quaker can take these apart quickly to have it all undone. These balls have high human entertainment value if you like to sit and watch your birds play. The colors are nice and plenty come in the pack for a nice value. Already bought more than one pack.

This is a great toy for chewing parakees. (At different stages of their development Budgies will be aggressive chewers and Female Parakeets usally bite harder and need to chew more than male parakeets.)Generally though, Regular Budgies will have a very hard time even biting through one ball..But my guy is going through a biting stage and my female like no regrets will buy again ( If these wicker balls are ever finished)!

My ringneck loves them and what's nice is for the money you get a lot as she will chew them up into little pieces after hours of play. Great deal for the money.

My little Green Cheek, Kali Lovs these & they are a terrific value for the money!!! The colors are food dye so safe safe safe, which is so important & like I said, she Lovs these & you get a lot! I searched FOREVER to find these balls & hope these folks never go away. I much highly recommend. Oh, yes my girl destroys them quickly but that's the fun!!!Update: I found another cool thing about these balls. After my Kali shreds them, I gather the "shredding" that hasn't fallen thru her bottom grate or been "messed on" then use it as stuffing for her foraging bowls & toys! Is fun for her, she does most of my work for me AND this is the definition of reusable toys!!!
