Scrolling through Amazon, eBay and Ali it looks like there are a wide range of sellers selling what looks to be 2 different Chinese-made products at various prices, shipping from various places. I crossed my fingers on this one, mostly because it had a short delivery time and was shipped from Amazon in the US. I paid a little more for that risk reduction and easy return privileges.1) The variant I ordered fit my 3-bolt Yamaha gas cap perfectly. The casting had recesses to fit the 3 Yamaha bolt holes, and two additional dummy holes for aesthetics. No filing was required, although the dummy holes came with short screws threaded in, and the screws did protrude a bit. Suggest backing those out before installing to avoid scratches.2) I will put a layer of vinyl tape on the bottom to avoid any metal to metal contact with my gas cap. You might not care.3) This is a big chunk of metal. The handle feels rock solid when mounted. Great sense of security for the passenger. (Wife approves!)4) product came with 3 new screws that appear to be decent quality, are the correct length and use the same Allen wrench size as OEM.5) recommend NOT dropping this on your gas tank…I rode 2-up with my YCRS instructor for a couple laps at the Ridge using one of these and was amazed that I didn’t panic or lose body fluids of any kind. Easy on and off. Relatively cheap. Worth a try if you take passengers on your sport(y) bike.

I have an R1 and it fits perfect and it looks great, perfect size to fit and grab on the hands, This defenetely add a lot of safety to the passenger , comfort for both, including rider.I am an engineer, and I know that been bolted is a lot more secure than other product that works with a pump, rubber deteriorates and the pump can damage the tank by the presure.My passenger will apreciatwd as you know in the road a jacket grip do not hold in street situations. More control to the rider, as he doest have to worry about carrying all that pressure Weight in that type of situations.It's a great buy in every way.Defenetely highly recomended

Worked great, easy to instal, not very comfortable on an MT-09 because of riding position for both. Would have definitely used more if I wouldn’t have crashed the bike.

I have a 2015 Yamaha R1 and this fit perfect. This has been a game changer for riding with a passenger. I bought one for my boyfriend and I’s bike. We are both short and this has been perfect added support for me to hold onto while I’m on the back and feel more supported. We are still able to hunch down to go fast and don’t feel as though it’s “in the way.” But we are also both shorter. I feel like I have way more control on how steady I feel holding on and my boyfriend says I don’t move around nearly as much and this helps eliminate a lot of pressure and my weight off of him. So far I love it. Will update if anything changes. Only downfall is it did take a month to arrive from over seas. It was packaged with just a plastic mailer wrapped around it with tape. But it made it here somehow.

While it was pretty and easy to install. It wasn't usable. Reaching over was tough for me but my boyfriend complained the entire time we went riding because of the position of the bars he has to sit really upright so both of us were so sore from these bars when we were done. I couldn't feel from my wrists down because they were numb. It could have helped if the hand grip was a little bigger but then they would have dug into my bfs waist/chest.

Ok this tank handle is probably the best thing I have ever bought in my life ever. Man, it turned my ride into a totally different ride. I would note that the rider prolly needs to be experienced bc I really can pull it back enough to pop a wheelie from the back seat. But we like doing that stuff. Man I really c an not say enough good stuff about it, makes stopping & shifting effortless for the passenger now. And if u wanted to stunt around with it, you totally could with ease. Also helps keep passenger neck in better position & keeps helmets from hitting so much. If u have a passenger all the time, u gotta get one. Totally changed the game.
