I love my pasta roller attachment and unfurtuently when cleaning got a clothe stuck and thought I had broken in.Saw a youtube tutorial and shows you can buy this.Works like it should and the pasta is back on the menu!

I normally can't be bothered to write reviews, but this a terrible replacement part. The drive shaft is off by at least 2-3mm. I can't be bother to get the calipers out, but its obvious. The drive shaft wont even sit far enough to allow the cover to be screwed back in. Save yourself the time and avoid this part. What a joke.

When you accidentally break your pasta maker attachment, it's nice to know you don't have to buy a whole new one. Changing out this part took less than 5 minutes and fit perfectly.

This was very easy to install. I couldn’t figure out my model number, but I bought the KitchenAid® 3-Piece Pasta Roller & Cutter Attachment Set in January 2023 from Williams Sonoma and this was compatible. The most difficult part was getting the older part that was stuck in my roller out, but once that was out, it was a breeze to replace. Watching some videos on YouTube was helpful too. Very grateful to have found this solution and not had to buy a new one!

We bought a used Kitchenaid Pasta Roller set of 3 that had the shaft snapped on the main flat roller attachment needed to first roll the dough flat before shredding into pasta. The manufacturer does not sell parts to replace this, you have to buy a whole new unit for $100+. This is also a common problem if your machine gets too much thick dough, it was designed to snap to relieve tension in case something that is not suppose to be flattened gets into roller. This took me all of one screwdriver and 2 minutes to replace. Screw out two screws, lift off side, out slides broken shaft, replace with new shaft, put side back on, two screws back in. DONE! So easy, I let my 6 year old fix it for me with great joy!

There really isn't a lot to say about this product. While making pasta I accidentally jammed the roller and this piece broke. Turns out this piece was designed to break if the pasta roller itself ever gets jammed so that it doesn't damage the mixer or the more expensive parts of the roller. With just a screwdriver and a couple minutes this part is easily replaceable for the KitchenAid pasta maker. It fit perfectly and is doing its job like a charm.
