My Pastry Display Case /Bread Box Acrylic Case arrived with the wrong instructions and I was completely at a loss as to how to assemble it. The instructions I received were for a three tier box, with three doors and no shelves. My case came with one door and 3 interior shelves. Here's my biggest take home message: don't expect this case to be made of nice, thick acrylic panels. The panels, which all seem very flimsy before they are supported by the other panels, snap together (no screws or glue etc...).Unfortunately, I didn't know that if I snapped the wrong panels together if I would be able to disassemble it without breaking it or otherwise making it useless. So, it was a precarious assembly experience.I eventually figured it out based on gut feel and logic (it's a cube, it wasn't that hard to figure out what piece went where after the initial anxiety I felt.) Still, a couple of times I missed one of the two snaps and when I moved it, it fell apart - which was unnerving since I didn't have instructions. While it is not made of acrylic panels of the thickness I was expecting (and which I think it should have in order to hold somewhat heavier items), it is functional and will be useful to store light weight items. We don't eat many carbs in our house, so no pastry or bread will see the interior of this case.If I were to base it solely on my experience in the first 20 minutes of opening the box, I would rate this product 3 stars. However, I do have craft items which I can store and organize in this case - things like watercolor brushes and paints, which I don't think will be too much weight for the shelves.
