Good Quality Material
The pipe insulation foam pipe is composed of a high-density polyethylene antifreeze foam insulation tube, a tin foil layer and a self-adhesive. It is elastic, scratch-resistant, waterproof, and fireproof. Double-layer aluminum foil can effectively prevent heat from entering the inside of the insulation tube.

You get a lot of insulation in this bundle, a total of nearly 8ft of piping can be covered. Being in individual pieces is convenient for working with small areas at a time. The products arrived a little squashed as pictured, and are a little difficult to manipulate back into shape, but they do a reasonable job overall.

These are a good thickness for critical PVC and PEX water pipes. The sleeves are easy to use and give me peace of mind during cold snaps. The price of ~$39 at the time of purchase is a bit steep, but for important parts of our water distribution, it's worth it. For longer, less exposed water runs, I would look for something more economical.

I was slightly disappointed these came crushed. It makes them harder to use. You have to force them back into shape before using them.Once you've got them round the pipe the adhesive foil part is easy to apply, and it is also very sticky meaning it is unlikely to ever come off. The pack also comes with extra squares of adhesive foil for joining pipes together, as I have done (see pic). They are also easy to trim to size if required.There is a lot of foam casing so I expect these will do a good good of insulating the pipe.----------------------------This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. I always review objectively, and only award 5 stars if I feel a product is worth it and is something that I would be happy to buy.

This pipe insulation comes in sections that are each about 15" in length. Unlike traditional foam pipe insulation, these sections are covered in a reflective foil that has an adhesive backing you peel to seal around the pipe. The reflective foil should prevent the foam insulation from decaying and cracking like the previous insulation did.I found the insulation not too difficult to install, although corners can be a little problematic. The insulation is on the pricier side, but hopefully will be worth it in terms of durability.

Big bummer, after I raved about how awesome the product was I got a second shipment of them and its outer shell was made of a paper like material. Not good. It’s like a cheap knockoff of the original. This version I would not recommend and I kinda feel like I lost out on a good product. I was going to mass quantity purchase this. New version, do not recommend. Just cheaply made.

Do not use for hot pipes. The glue does not stick at all. Like at all. Turned the heat on the first time and all of these things came falling down. I am planning to just wap them all up in duct tape which is super ugly and super annoying, do not buy.
