The plastic the outside frame is made of looks cheap, nothing else to say about it.There is a ton of glare on the TPU panels, it detracts from whatever you put inside. I don’t know if it could be improved if the TPU was matte textured but that might help. The frame doesn’t form a tight fit. The glass figurine I put in the frame has gills sticking out the sides which allows it to stay in place so this wasn't an issue for me. This frame is unlikely to be able to hold anything less than 3/8 inch thick. In the end it does what it’s supposed to do for the item I purchased it for. I can’t think of another way to display the glass fish figurine. Your mileage will vary depending on the thickness of your item.

I ordered a present for my sister, a ancient bronze medallion. I was looking for something that I'd be able to put it on display in, that my sister could either hanging up on the wall in or otherwise have it on display like on her desk or something. This seemed like a really good deal. I thought it would be nice that she could have this Roman pendant on display and be able to turn it over and see the back side of it too. However immediately when I put the pendant in, it just had no grip to the plastic material which is only a few steps above Saran wrap. It would hold up something plastic, or possibly something very lightweight but still chunky, but it doesn't really have enough grip to hold up metal objects, especially if it's heavy. It just sinks instead of floating in the middle, it just sinks to the bottom of the frame. Ironically I thought this was going to be sturdier as something that would be on display, it turns out I was actually shipped a pair of earrings in one of these one time. So I wouldn't really call this a display piece... Maybe more for shipping something small. I'm frustrated that I missed my return window for this, It felt relatively short.

We use these to display our Meg tooth collection. They work perfectly for this purpose.

Realizing you get what you pay for, this frame's "membranes" failed to hold my family's Congressional Gold Medal... even when I used double-stick tape on back of Medal. In essence, there's a low weight limit for it to work. I tossed it.

The frames are mostly great, except they have small, circular spots of varying sizes on the black plastic, front and back corners... where the molds or machinery touched them?I don't know but I was hoping to use these as shelf decor display for crystals, but those spots stick out and make it look tacky.
