Sometimes at my job I need to count and organize thousands of individual papers. Moistening fingers for this purpose is really inconvenient and not totally sanitary, so I ordered these. These work pretty well for this purpose and last a lot longer without slipping off the fingers than regular thimbles because they let the skin on your fingers breathe a little more (while still providing a good grip.) My only suggestion would be to have one size larger for thumbs as the largest size offered in this pack was still pretty tight, but not unbearable -- just uncomfortable, takes some getting used to. I like that it comes in a pack with a few of them in each size so I know if one tips I'll have a back up right away. I usually wear one on my thumb, index, and middle finger for counting papers.
