While it looks nice it is very difficult to assemble. There are only a total of approx 16 guide holes for the entire kit. The instructions are very unclear as to height of where certain pieces go. We had to undo and re-do several pieces at least 3 times each. My husband and I had to use the trays as a guide to spacing. The roof didn't line up either, and we had to forfeit the guide holes and create new holes instead. There are several places that the wood ended up splitting when we put the screws in as nothing was pre-drilled. We improvised a lot, but we have built many things together. I don't think this would be good for anyone without any type of contlstruction sense. There is also an extremely strong odor when you open the box. Gave us a headache and we had to let everything air out before building or putting our bunny in it. I dont know how well it will hold up to any liquid in it, but will update later.

Our pet bunny loves his home. We often open the bottom door for him to come out and roam around. He often chooses to go back in on his own

After having this product for 5 months, here is a honest review! Starting off on the things to think about with this product. If you are a person that likes to just look at the pictures, it might be a challenge putting it together, if you do not screw in the bottom correctly the bottom tray will fall out, keep this in mind if you want your pet to be outside. It’s obviously known that the cage is wood so your rabbit/other animal will chew it. The top of the hutch house lid does open very easily, I did screw a latch on the outside to keep it shut. Other than that I really like it, super aesthetic, the wiring is very sturdy, my rabbit absolutely loves her little home!

I have a very large g piggy and his regular critter cage seemed always too messy and the bedding would get everywhere and take forever to clean. Now we just put pee pads on the slider draw and bam - easy peasy. I have a small house and this makes it easier to move cage now from my closet.

Update: cage completely broke from the cheap wood less than a week after use, returned today (had to wait for a new cage to arrive so ended up having to use this one for about 2 weeks) will update again if company tries to deny return or gives additional hassle. This cage has been a nightmare please do not buy it!!!Tried to cancel this item within 10 minutes of ordering it because the more I read reviews the worse it got, company would not accept a cancellation. The Amazon representative said we would just have to return or refuse delivery. Decided to give it a try since it would be such a pain to return and it is just as bad as all the reviews say. Cheap wood that’s already cracking, poorly painted, poorly made. Tray has nothing separating it so had to buy wire to prevent our bunny from just standing in pee & poop. Overall very poor quality & will not last long. Super disappointed, please don’t waste your money!

I’ll be honest I was very excited about this cage. My bunny is about 9 months old and he was still in his starter cage. This was my upgrade for him. I just got it today and I’m disappointed. For one, the first piece I pulled out of the box had a huge crack in the wood, as shown above. Then I noticed their was glue on the wood pieces, that glue is on the side my bun would be. I was worried about him getting to the glue and eating the chemicals from it. The top drawer does not go in correctly at all, it is angled and has to be forced in. If you take it out, it takes some time to be able to put it back in. The door spaces are narrow so it’s hard to put stuff inside the bottom floor. The drawers don’t fit exactly into the grooves, so poop/ pellets get stuck on the sides of the drawer. Then what really pissed me off was that bottom drawer had a huge crack in the corner of the vinyl. I just want a replacement of the part, but looking at previous comments/ questions, this company doesn’t send just individual parts.Overall, this whole product was very cheaply designed. I wish I just built one for my own bun. I would not waste your money on this.

There were a couple versions of this hutch, this was definitely the "cheaper" one. Doesn't seem to be as clean. The boards don't line up perfectly. The more expensive versions of same hutch, have far better reviews. Oh well, you pay for the lower quality & a lower price. It's built, and functions. Just...you can tell why it was only $75. If you can, get the original version. 👍 👍Otherwise it's a suitable indoor/outdoor hurch. For less the $100.Preferably indoor with the quality of this one, unless you paint a weather proof coat on it, that your bunny won't eat.
