How to install your Front Rubber Rider Insert Footboards?
1.Remove your old footboards.
2.Clean the metal surface of the foot pedal.
3.Give a little lubrication through spray the pad.
4.Install the new footboards directly,you can use a wrench or other tools to pullout the protruding part.

Some of the rubber nipples were bent out of shade and didn’t come through the floor board all the way but they still fit and look good.

I added these to my '99 Fatboy after I realized that the originals, while they looked great, were stiff and transferring lots of buzz to my feet. Removing the old ones was easy and just required a box cutter. Install was a bit trickier and is MUCH easier if you remove the floorboards from the bike. I used WD40 as a lubricant and channel-locks because I was too lazy to remove the boards like i just recommended. While the pattern is different than OEM, nobody is going to notice, and I certainly don't care. Good product.

Just got them in, so I cannot speak to their ride quality over great distances or product longevity. However, here are my initial thoughts…Cons:- The rubber is nice, but it feels as though it will easily wear down with use. It’s possible they will require replacement after a few riding seasons. TBD.Pros:- They arrived quickly and look nice- The installation process was incredibly easy and fit perfectly to the OEM floorboards from Harley- They feel nice going down the road, the rubber provides a nice riding experience (thus far)- Significantly cheaper than “official” Harley boardsStats: 2003 Harley Davidson Road King ClassicI hope this helps! These floorboards are a good replacement for the original ones on older Harleys. Installation is a pain, but with patience it will happen. They work as listed and look good on the bike.
