I don't know what happenned to the fast charging on my phone, it started off fast-charge, but ended with regular charge. I don't know if that's an issue with the phone or an issue with voltage version of the output from the device. When i use it with our newer Lenovo X1 computer, however, it charges it nicely from my larger power supply of the older Lenovo X260. This simplifies travel. The smaller power supply doesn't seem to put out enough power to satisfy the newer X1's USB-C power requirements, but the full size power supply performs well. Very nice if you have the need for both charging ports on a trip.And yes, you could also use it to repurpose an older power supply to use with USB-C devices and reduce e-waste. I expect most will not use it for that purpose, it really is more of a benefit for travel or if you need to use both two laptops at one desk and don't want extra cables around or to do a mining expedition for the plug every time you need to change power supply.

This works fine for converting the Lenovo connector to USB-C for power. I wanted to use this on my older Lenovo dock for a newer machine to effectively create a dual USB-C power option with the old dock. That doesn't work and the laptop reads it as a "low power charger", but I think that's the dock itself and not this adapter.

Have a number of old lenovo thinkpad power supplies with the large round connector. Got this to see if it would work on lenovo e15. works perfectly
