This is a well made and extremely comfortable rain jacket. It is lightweight, breathable, high visible, and provides excellent range of motion. Perfect for temperate weather and light rain. Overall, a fantastic addition to any outdoor adventure. Highly recommend.

I love Pearl Izumi cycling gear so when I saw this, I had to have it. There’s always those days when it’s just a little chilly out and you need something a little bit more than just a tank or a shell. And this was exactly what I was looking for. This could definitely be worn if there’s a light rain or a light wind or just a cooler temperature. It does not have any lining so it’s not made for cold temperatures. It has a full zip up the front with a revers zip so that you can be comfortable on your seat and not have it bunching up. The sleeves are half elasticized so you can push them further up than fully elasticized sleeves. That’s some thing I really like. Also at the neck there’s a little flap that covers the zipper so it doesn’t scratch your neck. Another thing I like is the back is longer so when you bent forward over your bike, this will cover a little bit of your backside. And let’s not forget the bright yellow/green or whatever the heck this color is so you will definitely be seen! Now I know Pearl Izumi is pricey, but I use a lot of their gear and it lasts forever. This is another one I would strongly recommend.

Fitment is a bit on the smaller size. I got a S but to me it fits more like a XS. Love the lightweight material. Wish it had a hood. Softshell outer with smooth inner liner.

I'm not a cyclist but my husband is a big one. He loves the Pearl Izumi brand and says the quality is really good and so he encouraged me to try this jacket out. He was thinking I could use it more for cross-country skiing, which I do a ton of in the winter. I normally wear a size medium, and it fit me, but was tight enough that I couldn't wear a long-sleeved shirt underneath with it. The material would feel too hot/sticky without a shirt under it if I was sweating. So, unfortunately, I'm returning it. I think it would be great for cyclists though.

This is a lightweight rain jacket made by Pearl Izumi, which is one of the leading makers of high quality bike and workout clothing. Although lightweight, the poly fabric is a bit more stiff and stout than just a sheer nylon type of rain jacket. The jacket is waterproof, and has reflective elements to allow drivers to spot you. Like most biking tops, it runs longer in back in order to provide coverage when you are hunched over the handlebars. Oddly, the jacket has no pockets outside or inside. Regarding sizing, be aware that this jacket runs small. I strongly recommend ordering a size up from your usual size.
