Your cart is empty.The new Peavey SP 4 speaker has an ingenious 3-way design that improves low-end performance and produces clearer sound in the high frequency range. This quasi three-way enclosure has two 15 inch Peavey Black Widow speakers capable of handling up to 4000 watts peak power and have field replaceable baskets for quick, easy repair. Kudos to Peavey engineers for designing a much more efficient crossover that directs low frequencies to both woofers while limiting midrange frequencies to only the top woofer. Upper-midst and high frequencies are handled by an RX22 titanium driver that is Ferro fluid cooled for maximum tweeter performance and longevity. Peavey's exclusive Quadratic Throat Waveguide technology actually reduces horn distortion and aims sound directly at the audience, not over their heads. Rugged 9-ply Baltic birch construction, utilizing extensive internal bracing produces tighter bass response while significantly reducing the cabinet weight. Finished in a durable Hammerhead spray-on bed liner finish, the SP 4 has heavy-duty handles for easy transportation

Great speaker, amazing sound, box is over built, all speakers are hard mounted with metal anchors in the plywood and would absolutely buy again but....RX 22CT tweeter is mounted with 3 screws (instead of 4) to the plastic horn and Peavey shipped it in the box upside-down from China which cause one screw to snap and the driver peeled off the plastic horn. Right side up it's properly supported.This is a design flaw, currently working with Peavey for a replacement horn.UPDATE: Emailed Peavey with my purchase details and the photos of the damage. They shipped out a new horn next day, zero cost to me!

These speakers sound simply amazing! I am driving them with a Peavey amp through a Mackie DL16s mixer. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommended them to anyone wanting professional sound and quality.
