This thing is not super well-designed.It might work okay after some adjustments to your other gear, but I do not recommend this mount. The main problem is that the T-bar part (to which the kick pedal attaches) is too long, so the pedal ends up being so far away from the percussion item (cowbell, wood block, etc.) that you will need to adjust the angle of the beater to go past 90-degrees. If your foot board height is low: you might need to raise that as well. Do yourself a favor and look at the listings for similar pieces of hardware from real drum hardware manufacturers; product photos from Gibralter, Meinl, and LP all show that T-bar being much shorter than what is depicted here, and that detail is very important.I have my percussion block placed on the closest possible point of the knurled L-shaped arm, and I still had to change my beater angle beyond 90-degrees; if the L-shaped mounting bar was a bit longer (and if the T-shaped pedal mounting bar was shorter) this would not be a problem. I ended up using an offset beater, which helped keep the pedal adjustments within a normal range. If you have a single pedal you use for kick drum sometimes, and percussion (with this mount) at other times: you'll need to adjust the pedal every single time you switch. It would also have been nice if the other side of the floor spikes were rubber feet, but some push-on rubber tips are inexpensive, and not hard to find.Updated to add: I am removing another star, and can definitively say this thing is trash. In addition to the problems I mentioned above, I noticed that -- after my pedal kept scooting across the floor, even with the spikes on this mount engaged -- the part of the mount to which the pedal is clamped has too high of a rise, so the base plate of my kick pedal doesn't sit flat on the floor. Less contact with the floor = less friction, so the whole thing moves.I'll be returning this mount to get a replacement made by an actual percussion hardware manufacturer. I do not recommend this product in its current state.
